Hello, I am Issachar Bacang. I am an editor and critic. Let us begin.

Your fantasy creature defies all logical senses of form, reason, of biological and of physiological sense. Yet, in fantasy, that hardly ever matters. The creature in question's unique characteristics and intelligent design becomes all the more clear and concentric as the creator explains why they designed it as such.

That is why I believe it very important for good concept and character artists to be good creative writers as well. They breathe meaning, reason, and lore to their creations. Just because real human beings suffer existential crisis does not mean we have to necessarily put our fantasy creations through the same thing.

What I am basically saying is, this creature looks far too interesting to be just some floating jetsam in the depths of the ocean. It looks far too unique to be confined in the specific scene it is drawn in. A character or creature creation needs some description of lore behind it, lest it be nothing than an expression on a piece of paper.

For a moment I was lead to believe this was the case, but I refuse to not know more about this creature, be it only it's name even.
